Hutong Club. The newest in Munich’s Asian cuisine scene

Recently we Munichmoms had a fabulous and exciting dinner at the hot, new Asian restaurant….. Hutong Club! Set in the trendy Schwabing neighborhood is this new totally renovated, Traditional Chinese restaurant that gives you a slight New York vibe in terms of decor. The interior walls are painted in black and red with hand painted tables accented with low lighting the gives you a super cool and hip feeling while you dine. .The name of the restaurant  is inspired by the “Hutongs“, little courtyards surrounding the Forbidden City in Beijing.
The restaurant is very popular right now and definitely should be on your list to try for date night or a good time with your friends. The food is the main attraction and the food we had was really good. We tried the mongolian lamb dumplings, Beef pot stickers, Crispy tuna tartare, pulled chicken and spring rolls. It was served to us by very friendly waitstaff. We dined family style sharing all of the dishes that were in the middle of the table. For drinks we had the Gingertini and the Hutong Club special “ The Dark and Stormy”.

This restaurant was nicely put together by owner Christian Ribitzki and his talented Chef Daniel Ternes, who already made a successful team at Ribitzkis former restaurant “Eisbach“ and Sven Hartmann.

This is a definite Munichmoms thumbs up. Make plans to try it.
